Abstract

Digital transformation has emerged as a significant strategic phenomenon that is reshaping the operational structures, competitive strategies, and performance outcomes of modern organizations. The rapid advancement of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, enterprise information systems, and automation, has encouraged firms to redesign their business models and decision-making processes. This study examines the relationship between digital transformation and firm performance by emphasizing the mediating role of business analytics and strategic decision-making capabilities. Digital transformation enables organizations to collect, process, and utilize large volumes of data, allowing managers to develop evidence-based strategies and improve operational efficiency. Business analytics provides valuable insights into customer behaviour, market trends, resource utilization, and organizational performance, while strategic decision-making ensures the effective implementation of these insights for sustainable growth. The integration of digital technologies with analytical capabilities enhances innovation, flexibility, productivity, and competitive advantage. This research highlights that firms that successfully adopt digital transformation initiatives are better positioned to respond to environmental changes and achieve long-term performance improvements. The study provides theoretical and practical implications for managers, policymakers, and researchers by explaining how digital capabilities and analytical decision-making contribute to organizational success in the digital economy.
