Climate change has emerged as one of the most significant environmental challenges of the twenty-first century, influencing biodiversity patterns, ecosystem functioning, and global sustainability. Rising temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, extreme weather events, ocean warming, and habitat transformation are creating substantial pressures on terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Biodiversity plays a fundamental role in maintaining ecological balance by supporting ecosystem services such as food production, carbon regulation, pollination, water purification, and climate regulation. However, accelerated climate change has disrupted species distribution, altered migration patterns, increased extinction risks, and reduced ecosystem resilience. This study explores the relationship between climate change and biodiversity loss from a global perspective while examining its consequences for ecosystem sustainability. The article discusses major climate-driven impacts including habitat degradation, species migration, ecosystem instability, and changes in ecological interactions. Furthermore, it highlights conservation approaches, nature-based solutions, sustainable resource management, and international cooperation as essential strategies for protecting biodiversity under changing climatic conditions. The findings emphasize that maintaining biodiversity is not only an environmental necessity but also a critical requirement for achieving long-term ecological and human sustainability.
