Abstract

Employee retention remains a critical challenge for organizations worldwide as the dynamics of the workforce continue to evolve. High employee turnover leads to increased costs, loss of institutional knowledge, and reduced organizational performance. This paper explores key strategies employed to retain talent, including compensation, work-life balance, employee engagement, career development opportunities, and organizational culture. Drawing from empirical studies and theoretical models, the paper highlights best practices and their effectiveness across different industries. Additionally, it discusses the impact of generational diversity and remote work trends on retention efforts. The findings suggest that a holistic, employee-centric approach enhances long-term retention and organizational success
